When and Where is the Wedding?
April 4, 2026. The wedding and reception are being held at Cakewalk Chapel in the Crossroads of Kansas City.
The address is:
Cakewalk Chapel - Crossroads
1701 McGee Street
Kansas City, MO 64108
Will There Be A Reception?
Yes! Immediately following the wedding we will have non-alcoholic beverages followed closely by catered Jackstack BBQ. Cake cutting to follow.
What Time Should I Arrive?
Details coming soon!
What Should I Wear?
Semi-Formal / Dressy Casual -
Men can wear dress pants with a button-down shirt or collared shirt and optional blazer. Women can wear a nice dress, a chic skirt and top, a dressy jumpsuit, or dress pants with a nice top.
Can I bring a guest?
Our wedding is RSVP only - If you have a plus one, it will be notated on the invitation. Otherwise, only the names listed on the invitation are invited. We are happy everyone wants to celebrate with us but we are sticking to a pretty small cap of around 50 people. We appreciate your understanding!
Are Kids Invited?
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be a mostly adults-only celebration. A few immediate family members will be allowed, but this is permitted on a case-by-case basis, so please ask if you have any questions.
Will There Be Transportation to and From the Venue?
Guests are responsible for their own transportation, but there is parking available at the venue. Please reach out if you need help with transportation.
What’s the Best Way to RSVP?
Please RSVP by our wedding website or by mailing back your RSVP card. If both of these methods do not work for you, please let the bride or groom know.
Our formal and digital invitations will go out in November-December. Please check back on our website for more details as they become available.
Can I Take Photos During the Ceremony?
We'd love for you to be present in the moment, so we're having an unplugged ceremony. Please keep phones and cameras away until after we say "I do!". We promise to share high quality photos and video with those interested.
Where Are you Registered?
We're so grateful to have you in our lives, and your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift. If you'd like to give something more, we've created a honeymoon fund to help us make some unforgettable memories together. You can either use the honeymoon fund on our wedding website or give via your desired method,
Is Lodging Available?
The majority of our invited quests are local. If you are traveling in from out of town and do not have a place to stay, please reach out to the Bride or the Groom and we can recommend some places.
Who Should I Contact if I have Questions?
Please reach to the Bride, Jennifer, or the Groom, Kyle, directly if you have any questions.
Are you having a wedding shower?
We are not having a wedding shower since we are only doing a honeymoon fund and we both own a house, so we have enough stuff anyways :)
We will be having a breakfast/brunch the morning of our wedding. You are welcome to come to that as well, or if you can only make the brunch, we'd love to see you! When the formal invitations go out, you will RSVP for the breakfast/brunch, the wedding, and the reception. More details will be available November/December.
